Bring a distinctive logo into three dimensions
A business with an illustrated mark or unusual lettering needs more than its artwork enlarged. We check which elements can be carved, which should sit on top of the face and which small details need simplifying. That keeps the finished sign readable while retaining the character of the logo.
For an Athens café, shop or venue, send the logo plus a photo showing where the sign will go. Routed HDU can add a shaped background and raised border. Acrylic lettering can provide smooth faces and crisp edges, especially where people see the sign at close range.
Plan how the sign looks during the day and evening
Raised details create shadows, which can give a sign extra depth under exterior lighting. Those same shadows can interfere with small lettering if the light is badly positioned. Share the existing fixture location when the design includes deep layers or a textured background.
Our work here is the non-illuminated sign or letter package. Your installer can plan the lighting and electrical work around it. A simple name, clear contrast and room around the letters are useful whether the sign is lit or viewed in daylight.
Replacing a face or ordering a new sign?
Athens-Clarke County separates review of a new sign’s size and placement from its construction and installation permit. It also describes an exception for changes considered face swaps. For an existing frame, send the full panel size, visible opening and thickness. If the sign is a new design, include the property-approved dimensions and mounting plan instead. We can then quote the correct piece without relying on a photo for scale.
Order the pieces your project actually needs
You can order a complete routed sign, a separate logo, individual letters or unfinished parts. For a property with several entrances, number the panels and identify which wording belongs on each. Directional signs often need different proportions from the main identity panel.
Athens sign companies can send production files for routing and finish the components in their own shop. Direct buyers can request a painted sign shipped to their installer. In both cases, we confirm the artwork, finish, quantity and delivery details before production.
