Your customer-facing proof is not always a production file. Before quoting, confirm that the artwork contains actual vector paths, appropriate stroke widths and a known scale. A rendering may show the design intention, while a separate shop drawing identifies dimensions and construction. Sending both reduces interpretation and gives the manufacturing team a visual reference for the finished appearance.
Custom-Cut Blanks Without a Full-Sheet Purchase
One of the most practical trade services is custom-cut HDU blanks. A shop that needs a 22-inch circle, an arched panel or a pair of odd-sized rectangles should not have to purchase an entire sheet and store the remainder. We can cut the required outside profile from 15-pound HDU and ship the pieces as a dedicated order.
Custom blanks are quoted from the material consumed, setup, cutting, edge work, quantity, packaging and shipping. A circle is normally priced from the rectangular area it occupies on the sheet rather than only the mathematical area inside the circle. Multiple pieces may be nested to improve yield. Shops can submit vector outlines or request simple standard geometry by dimension.

Repeat orders become easier when both shops maintain the same production reference. The approved file should have a version name, exact dimensions, paint codes and a written bill of materials. For variable-copy programs, separate the fixed geometry from the changing information so the border, logo, depth and colors remain standardized while addresses or tenant names vary.
The shipment method depends on size and finish. Small raw parts may travel by parcel service, while large finished faces often need a reinforced carton, pallet or crate.
