How We Make HDU Signs
A practical look at how routed HDU panels, raised lettering and dimensional sign components move from artwork to shipment.

HDUSigns.net is the custom-sign operation of Urban Fresh Services LLC in Jasper, Georgia. We manufacture routed HDU panels, dimensional letters, logos, replacement faces and components for direct customers and sign shops across the United States.
Our routed HDU work starts with sign-grade material and production-ready artwork. The file is reviewed for scale, letter size, cutter access, depth and the amount of material that must remain behind routed pockets. We use a CAMaster X3 CNC for routing and shaping, then prepare parts for primer, paint, applied lettering or final assembly.
Finished signs are prepared in our shop, checked against the approved design and packed for shipment. Some trade customers order raw or primed components and complete the finishing themselves.

Fast standard production
7 Business Day Turnaround*
For qualifying standard HDU signs, our production turnaround is seven business days. This is designed for straightforward jobs with approved production-ready artwork, no more than two paint colors, and standard routing and finishing.
What qualifies: standard HDU construction, simple routing or raised/recessed copy, up to two paint colors, and artwork that is ready for production. Complex layered signs, specialty finishes, oversized pieces, extensive revisions, unusual fabrication or larger quantities may need additional production time.
*The production clock begins after final artwork approval and payment. Shipping or freight transit time is not included in the seven business days. Your quote will confirm the production schedule for your specific project.

We confirm finished size, material, thickness, sides, artwork and which details are routed versus applied.
CNC routing
The panel is shaped and machined for recessed areas, raised copy, borders or texture according to the approved production file.
Finish and ship
Parts are prepared for the quoted finish, assembled when required, inspected and packed for shipment.
Why manufacturing detail matters
A rendering can show what a sign should look like, but production depends on physical details: cutter diameter, remaining material, raised-letter thickness, paint sequence, edge treatment, attachment points and packaging. That is why we ask for more than a screenshot when a project moves into production.
For sign shops, this also makes responsibility clear. We can quote a raw routed panel, primed components or a finished sign. The purchase order should state exactly what leaves our shop and what your installer or production team will handle.
